DESCRIPTION:DG présente :  \nNURSE (Atlanta\, USA)funeral hardcore punk  \nNurse a été actif de 2014 à 2018\, puis a fait quelques apparitions sporadiques ici et là jusqu’en 2022. Le groupe est désormais de retour et partira en tournée européenne pour la première fois en septembre/octobre prochain. L’occasion de remettre en lumière le hardcore sombre de ce groupe d’Atlanta en compilant leurs 3 sorties éponymes sur cette nouvelle cassette (deux EPs et un 12’’). Nurse délivre un hardcore punk créatif et râpeux\, qui met au défi les frontières entre les genres avec une urgence qui tâche et qui marque\, glisse des références nébuleuses au deathrock des années 80 avec des éléments décalés inhérents au post-punk. DESCRIPTION:Après une soirée de lancement inoubliable\, Fête Trouble remet le couvert à l’Ubik dans le cadre del famoso festival Culture Bar-Bars pour le meilleur et pour le mieux. \nPour cette occasion nous avons décidé de mettre les petits plats dans les grands\, et de convier un invité de marque en la personne du producteur et DJ parisien Michel Ange\, pour sa première date à Nantes.  \nMichel Ange fait partie de cette nouvelle vague de jeunes talents aux influences résolument tournées vers les heures glorieuses de la dance music des 90’s. À l’image du maître italien et dans un savant esprit syncrétique\, il s’approprie les sonorités qui lui sont chères\, de la house à la trance en passant par le breakbeat\, et livre une musique à la fois contemporaine et festive. DESCRIPTION:DG présente :  \nTYVEK (Detroit\, USA)diy-garage-punk genius \ntubes garage punk lo-fi et spastiques avec une petite touche weirdo digne des compiles MESSTHETICS et/ou du post-punk « UKDIY » de l’angleterre des années 80. \nThroughout perpetual\, necessary shifting\, Detroit’s Tyvek have remained a singular force. The group was formed somewhere in the mid-aughts by songwriter\, vocalist\, guitarist\, and sole consistent band member Kevin Boyer\, who enlisted various friends to cultivate a raw\, rudimentary punk sound that manages to get back to basics while at the same time presenting abstract perspectives and weird concepts not normally explored by your everyday garage band. There have been mutations over the years as the band toured regularly and released a run of solid albums with labels like Siltbreeze and In The Red\, but with every reformation\, Tyvek still didn’t sound quite like anyone else. Their new album\, the self released Overground (Ginkgo\, 2023)\, stays true to their reputation for delivering hit after hit of blistering punk and remains tightly wound until it unspools into the dreamlike title track\, an extended post Velvets plea for human decency. This new album pushes the punk element deeper with a bit more raw production and in-your-face drums. If you’ve ever enjoyed the work of A FRAMES\, then you’ll like this. There’s even elements that remind me of the ADOLESCENTS and a bit of AGENT ORANGE.
